June 21, 2004 Resort Labs announced version 1.2 of its innovative Windows shell enhancement utility uniting the power of commonly used Windows components, such as Taskbar, Quick Launch Panel, Task Switcher and Task Manager, in one easy to use package. Task Commander operates as applications monitor displaying information on each and every open window particular application may have. The utility allows fast switching between applications and individual documents windows as well as it allows launching frequently used or user specified applications from virtually any spot on the user's desktop. This handy feature has become available with use of green dot icon placed in Taskbar area, Windows explorer window and Internet Explorer panel.
